The regulations below outline the most important house rules that apply at our hotel. We ask that you respect and accept these rules.


Terms and Conditions

General Rules

  • All instructions from Garde Hotels staff regarding house rules must be followed. Please report any complaints to management.

  • The management, the owner of this property, and/or individuals working for the hotel cannot be held liable for any injury and/or material or immaterial damage that visitors to the property may sustain.

  • Garde Hotels has a zero-tolerance policy. This means that if you violate our house rules, you will not receive a warning but will be asked to leave the hotel immediately. No refund will be issued, and any security deposit you may have paid will be forfeited.

  • In any cases not covered by these regulations, the management of Garde Hotels will make the final decision. Failure to comply with these rules may result in the decision to involve the police and judicial authorities and to ask you to leave the premises immediately. The hotel reserves the right to terminate the reservation immediately without refunding the amount paid.

  • At Garde Hotels, we treat each other with respect. It is prohibited to intimidate guests and employees through words, gestures, or actions.

  • The staff at Garde Hotels are committed to ensuring your safety. In the event of an emergency, the emergency plan will be activated. We kindly but urgently ask that you follow the instructions given by our staff.

  • Cameras are installed in various locations throughout the building. Anyone on the premises of our hotel agrees to be recorded. In the event of emergencies and/or incidents, these recordings may be used as supporting evidence.

  • Garde Hotels is not responsible for the loss or theft of your personal belongings.

  • You must present a valid form of identification when checking in. You must be at least 18 years old to check in.

  • All guests must check in at the front desk with a valid form of identification at the start of their stay or when visiting a room or suite.

  • The front desk may ask you to pay a deposit for your stay.

  • Please turn in any lost and found items at the front desk.

  • Family rooms are rented exclusively to families (1 or 2 caregivers and children).

  • Disabling smoke or fire alarms results in a fine of €250.

  • In case of fire, remain calm. Report the fire to the front desk and/or activate the nearest fire alarm.

  • In the event of a general fire alarm, leave the building immediately.

  • Never use the elevators in case of fire.

  • Garde Hotels must comply with the Alcohol and Hospitality Act. Alcoholic beverages will not be served to guests under the age of 18. If there is any doubt, guests may be asked to show identification.

  • In cases of alcohol abuse, further dispensing may be refused.

  • Pets are not allowed, with the exception of guide dogs and service dogs.

  • Check out our discounts on our website. If you book 30 days before your arrival date, you’ll receive our early-bird discount*. We also automatically offer a long-stay discount* for stays of 5 nights or more.

It is prohibited to

  • Removing or intentionally damaging property belonging to Garde Hotels. The person responsible will be held liable for any damage.

  • Engaging in disruptive or offensive behavior, sexual harassment, racism, or discrimination. This will result in immediate removal. In the event of threats or physical abuse, a police report will be filed.

  • Causing noise disturbances after 11:00 p.m. From this time on, the hallways and rooms/suites must remain quiet.

  • Disabling or misusing fire and safety equipment. This will automatically result in removal from the premises without a refund of accommodation costs or the security deposit.

  • Bringing or possessing weapons inside the hotel.

  • Causing a disturbance by playing loud music, behaving in an unruly manner, or making noise. A fine of €175 will be imposed for any violation.

  • Smoking is permitted inside the building. A fine of €175 will be imposed for violations. If a room smells of smoke, a fine may still be imposed. If the fire alarm is triggered by smoking, you will be charged for the fire department’s costs. Smoking soft and hard drugs is prohibited on the entire premises.

  • Do not light candles or incense due to the risk of fire. The alarm system will be activated immediately.

  • Allowing more people to stay in the room or suite than permitted.

  • Rooms or suites used for commercial sexual activities (fine of €175).

  • To use, traffic in, or possess narcotics.

  • Use nitrous oxide cartridges or balloons.

  • Use emergency exits as regular entrances and exits.

  • Leaving the hotel without paying any outstanding bills.

House Rules

  • You must present a valid ID.

  • Check-out is by 12:00 p.m. at the latest.

  • No pets allowed (exception: service dogs).

  • A maximum of 2 people are allowed per room, unless otherwise agreed. Children under 12 may stay with an adult (maximum of 2 people total). Cribs are available upon request.

  • Candles and incense are not allowed.

  • Charging batteries in the room is not permitted; this also applies to bicycle batteries

  • Smoking is prohibited. Fine for violation: €175. If the fire alarm goes off, fire department fees will also be charged.

  • The use, sale, and possession of drugs are prohibited. In the event of a violation, management will contact the police.

  • Damage to, loss of, or destruction of property will result in immediate removal and/or a police report.

  • Confetti and certain decorations are not permitted. Any additional cleaning or repair costs will be charged to you. 

The management of Garde Hotels wishes you a safe and pleasant stay.

All agreements entered into by us are subject to the Uniform Terms and Conditions for the Hospitality Industry (UVH). Furthermore, the UVH are available for review at our office and will be sent to you promptly and free of charge upon your request. The UVH are binding on everyone who uses our services.
