  • Both hotels are located in the center of Groningen. Hotel Corps de Garde is situated on the corner of Oude Boteringestraat, just a 5-min walk from the Grote Markt. Hotel Halbert is located on Oude Boteringestraat, one of the most beautiful streets in the city center. Both locations are easily accessible by public transport and within walking distance of the best attractions Groningen has to offer.

  • Certainly. Garde Hotels features two distinct restaurant concepts, each with its own unique character.

    Restaurant Blumé, situated adjacent to Hotel Halbert, is Garde Hotels' fine dining establishment. It offers a seasonal, refined, yet warm ambiance. Here, guests can savor an evening that will create lasting memories.

    Souterrain 1634 is located in the historic basement of Hotel Corps de Garde. This intimate setting features a menu where vegetables take center stage, guided by the seasons. While fish and meat are available as supplements, the vegetables truly shine. It is a place to slow down and truly savor the flavors.

    Het Wachthuis, located within Hotel Corps de Garde, is the ideal spot for breakfast, lunch, and delightful drinks. It offers an accessible and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a moment of respite in the heart of the city.

  • Reservations can be made directly through the websites of Hotel Corps de Garde or Hotel Halbert. This ensures you receive the best available rate and book directly with us.

  • Certainly. Garde Hotels provides facilities for meetings, workshops, and business overnight stays in an environment that offers more than a standard conference hotel. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

  • Certainly. Our hotels and restaurants are perfect venues for anniversaries, birthdays, company gatherings, or any other special occasion. Please contact us to discuss the arrangements.

  • The hotels and restaurants do not have their own parking spaces. The Ossenmarkt parking garage is located just 100 meters from the hotel and offers discounted rates for online reservations (€18 instead of €26). The Boterdiep parking garage, 450 meters away, is also a good option, with a rate of €15 for 24 hours. Are you traveling by bike? You can park it safely in the hotel’s courtyard.

  • Yes, children are most welcome. Family rooms are available at Hotel Halbert. Please indicate your requirements when making a reservation, and we will endeavor to accommodate your needs.

  • Yes, you can purchase a gift voucher valid for all Garde Hotels' hotels and restaurants. This is a wonderful way to surprise someone with a stay in Groningen, a dinner at Blumé, or simply some time for themselves. Please send an email to welkom@gardehotels.nl, and we will arrange it for you.
