On Friday, November 27, we’re temporarily renaming Hotel Halbert the “Friends for Life” hotel: first, spend an evening singing along at the top of your lungs to the best bar hits, then slip right into bed. The next morning, a hangover brunch will be waiting for you, so you can recover at your own pace and savor the memories a little longer.
The Friends for Life Package
Together with Vrienden voor het Leven, we’re renaming Hotel Halbert—just for this one night—the Vrienden voor het Leven Hotel. First, you’ll spend the whole evening singing along to the best bar hits. Then, a comfortable bed will be waiting for you.
The next morning, we’ll start off slowly. We understand that after a night like that, you might not wake up feeling your best. That’s why we’ve got a hangover brunch waiting for you. Enjoy some coffee and take a moment to reminisce about the night before.
This package includes a ticket to "Friends for Life," one night's stay at Hotel Halbert in a room of your choice, including a brunch for hangovers and a late check-out until 1:00 p.m.
An Ode to Bar Life
"Friends for Life" is a tribute to bar culture and transforms Martiniplaza into the North’s biggest traditional pub for one night. Expect an evening filled with Dutch-language music, sing-alongs, tall tales, full glasses, and, above all, lots of fun.
The lineup includes Dries Roelvink, Frans Duijts, Corry Konings, and Senna, among others. Together with your friends, you’ll sing, raise a toast, and enjoy an evening that starts with “just one” and will probably end with “just one more.”

Suite

Check-in at Hotel Halbert is at 3:00 p.m., so you'll have plenty of time to get ready for an evening of sing-alongs!

Hotel Halbert does not have its own parking spaces. The Ossenmarkt parking garage is located just 100 meters from the hotel and offers discounted rates for online reservations ( €18 instead of €26). The Boterdiep parking garage, 450 meters away, is also a good option, with a rate of €15 for 24 hours. Are you coming by bike? You can park it safely in the hotel’s courtyard.
